Celebrated Brooks’s first birthday yesterday. In full Brooks spirit, she had a great time, ran (literally; she’s been walking since 10 months) all over the place and was delighted that she was allowed to eat her cake with her hands:

Ben and Bailey of course enjoyed the party, playing with Brooks and their cousins. Bailey, using her own four year old phonetics, made Brooks a card (”Brook-see” is how Bailey usually refers to Brooks):
